Founded in March 2010, Elemental Methods is focused on the implementation of innovative technologies and processes to spur growth and provide value to our clients. While our IT expertise spans a broad range of hardware and software technologies, Elemental Methods has most recently been focused on the development and integration of smartphone applications with commercial systems and business processes. The smartphone is rapidly becoming the primary device used for business communications. This technology is allowing businesses to reach potential and existing customers in a new and innovative way. The Innovation and Application Development consulting practices at Elemental Methods have created a framework for the design, development, and deployment of smartphone applications to support enterprise business processes.

MICHAEL CHRISTOPHER

Michael Christopher is the Managing Director and co-owner of Elemental Methods, LLC, an Information Technology consulting and software development firm. Prior to founding Elemental Methods in 2010, Mr. Christopher led an IBM consulting practice supporting Travel and Transportation clients and was responsible for the implementation of airline crew scheduling systems and self-service kiosks in passenger service environments. He retired from IBM after a thirty-year career specializing in the development and implementation of complex IT solutions in multiple industry segments.

Under Mr. Christopher’s direction, Elemental Methods has become a recognized leader in the development and integration of mobile applications for the collection of commercial and recreational catch data for fisheries management and research. Their projects include the development and hosting of the following systems:

In 2016, Mr. Christopher served on a Blue-Ribbon Panel convened to develop recommendations to Congress and the incoming Presidential Administration regarding the modernization of fisheries information systems in the United States.

In 2019, Mr. Christopher initiated work with the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council to develop and implement the weather-related functionality now available in the “Elemental Weather” application suite and data feed.

Mr. Christopher is also a member of the “Recreational Electronic Reporting Task Force”, a special task force organized under NOAA’s Marine Fisheries Advisory Committee (MAFAC). This Task Force provides expert advice to MAFAC, and subsequently NOAA Fisheries leadership, on the generation, delivery, and use of electronically reported data from private recreational anglers to assist NOAA Fisheries in fulfilling its mission activities.

Mr. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in the “Business Route to Electrical Engineering” at the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southern Methodist University. He is credentialed as a "Project Management Professional" (PMP®) by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

 
 

ABHISHEK MISHRA

Abhishek Mishra (अभिषेक मिश्रा) is the Chief Technical Architect at Elemental Methods, LLC. Prior to joining Elemental Methods, his IT experience included designing and delivering Business Process Management applications for Morgan Stanley, developing Process Automation solutions for the renewable energy firm, Suzlon Energy, developing Business Process Management solutions for USHA International, and implementing tree conservation projects for the government of Hong Kong. Mr. Mishra has also worked with Information Technology providers such as, Wipro Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services, IBM, Nividous Software, and Savvion.

Mr. Mishra’s technology expertise includes mobile application development (Hybrid and native iOS/Android), server application development (Java, PHP, and Python stack), application integration, business process automation (Savvion, JBPM, BonitaSoft), Natural Language Processing (Stanford CoreNLP), Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (Python, Java, and Tensorflow).

During his tenure at Elemental Methods, Mr. Mishra’s has led the development of applications for marine research, conservation, and data collection for organizations such as, the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources, the Snook & Gamefish Foundation, the Angler Action Foundation, the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council, Coastal Conservation Association - Florida, International Women’s Fishing Association Florida. Mr. Mishra is also the chief architect for the iAngler platform, which includes applications such as, iAngler, iAngler Lite, iAngler Tournament, CCA Florida Star Tournament, Joe Bay Survey, Tails n’ Scales, and MyFishCount.

Mr. Mishra provides Artificial Intelligence training through the “Numahub” platform. He has also developed an Artificial Intelligence based application, “NounShoun”, that aids with English Grammar training.

Mr. Mishra holds a Master’s Degree in Condensed Matter Physics, in addition to multiple certifications for Information Technology platforms, including Sun-certified Java Programmer, the primary language used in the SBLOP Tablet Application. He is also the co-founder of Constellation Software, a software development firm, the English grammar app, “Nounshoun”, and the “Numahub” Artificial Intelligence blog.

 
 

Mayur Mutha

Mayur Mutha is a Senior Web Developer at Elemental Methods, LLC. He has vast experience in the field of Website Design and Development. Prior to joining Elemental Methods, his 13 years of experience includes designing and developing more than 500 Websites and Web Applications. He has worked with wide range of organizations based in India, USA, Europe, Japan, Singapore, developing websites for Georgetown University, Saul Ewing, TouchMagix Games USA, Central Bank of Oman, Qatar Central Bank, Business Startup Qatar, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Mahindra Integrated Business Solutions, Bridgestone Tyres, Bilcare Limited, Tata Consultancy Services, Suzlon.

Mayur has a multidisciplinary skill set that integrates creative and technical skills. His expertise includes Web development (Drupal CMS, WordPress, Shopify, Magento, PHP), Front-end Design & Development (CSS, JS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch).

During his tenure at Elemental Methods, Mayur has led the design and development of websites for organizations such University of North Texas, University of Mississippi, The Angler Action Foundation, the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council, Coastal Conservation Association - Florida, International Women’s Fishing Association Florida, Coastal Conservation Association – Louisiana, Coastal Conservation Association – North Carolina.

Apart from designing & developing websites and brand strategies, Mayur, has been helping clients build their marketing and outreach programs focused on Social Media. He has helped build landing pages that have been strategically designed to increase engagement and conversions. He has an excellent eye to design and plays a key role in ensuring our products have a sleek look and feel.

Mayur works at Constellation Software, a software development firm in India, as a Vice President (Design and Marketing).

 
 

ANN CHRISTOPHER

Ann Christopher, Director and co-owner of Elemental Methods, LLC, is responsible for Elemental Methods' operations and community outreach. While overseeing quality assurance and internal activities, she also leads the firm's participation in partnerships with various charities and ministries. 

Mrs. Christopher joined Elemental Methods after a thirty-two year career at IBM.  At IBM, she led global technical teams in business areas such as education and training, business partner programs and enablement, consultative services, marketing and technical support.  She also led international teams supporting IBM software, hardware, and consulting clients around the world.

Mrs. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at Mississippi State University.
