(Orlando, FL) - Elemental Methods, LLC proudly celebrates a major milestone this year—their 10th anniversary of partnering with the Coastal Conservation Association Florida (CCA Florida) to host the prestigious Statewide Tournament and Angler’s Rodeo (STAR). Over the past decade, this collaboration has elevated STAR into one of the largest and most anticipated saltwater fishing tournaments in the nation, drawing thousands of participants and promoting sustainable fishing practices throughout Florida’s waters.

Since 2014, Elemental Methods has worked closely with CCA Florida to enhance the tournament experience through the implementation of mobile application technology to support the tournament’s “Catch/Photo/Release” (CPR) format. They also provided social media marketing assistance, driving participant engagement and raising awareness for critical conservation efforts. Through their cutting-edge technology, Elemental Methods has helped streamline registration, ensure the smooth operation of the tournament, and make the event more accessible to anglers across Florida.

“We are thrilled to mark a decade of working alongside CCA Florida in support of their mission to conserve and protect Florida’s marine resources,” said Michael Christopher, Managing Director of Elemental Methods. “Together, we have grown STAR into an event that not only celebrates Florida’s rich fishing heritage but also plays a vital role in ensuring the future of our fisheries.”

STAR, which runs annually from Memorial Day through Labor Day, has become a fixture in the Florida fishing community. It is unique in offering millions of dollars in prizes, including scholarships, boats, and cash, all while encouraging sustainable fishing practices. At its core, the tournament’s mission aligns perfectly with the values shared by both Elemental Methods and CCA Florida: to protect and preserve Florida’s coastal ecosystems for future generations.

“Creating a different format for the resurrection of the CCA Florida STAR tournament was a big step for CCA Florida but we made the right decision to work with Elemental Methods to create a proprietary app to run the CPR tournament.,” said Capt. Leiza Fitzgerald, the STAR Tournament Director. “Now concluding the 10th year of competition, CCA Florida STAR presented by Yamaha is Florida’s largest family friendly fishing competition and has set the bar for other competitions and other app developers when it comes to ease of participation and submissions of catch entries.  Looking forward to another successful 10 years of competition.”

As Elemental Methods and CCA Florida celebrate this remarkable milestone, both organizations look forward to many more years of partnership, working together to promote responsible fishing, conserve Florida’s marine resources, and provide anglers with unparalleled experiences.
